Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Urbano Sagrario started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Franja Dorada's Benigno Rito got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Franja Dorada's goalkeeper Venancio Hodei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Florentino Rito's late challenge caught a Leicester Lions's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florentino Rito helped the player get up and apologised. Venancio Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şükür Hagi in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Tod Freeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Hodei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şükür Hagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Franja Dorada defense, Şükür Hagi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Venancio Hodei. The Franja Dorada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Venancio Hodei should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the game, Tod Freeman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Venancio Hodei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Venancio Hodei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şükür Hagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grant Blacknell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urbano Sagrario in the 33rd minute. Venancio Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şükür Hagi in the 38th minute of play. In the 46th minute Tod Freeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Leicester Lions booed when Franja Dorada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Rito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Franja Dorada's goal looked a bit too open when Şükür Hagi came free, but Venancio Hodei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Şükür Hagi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Mike Wadham. Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Sagrario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lisandro Remicio kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Şükür Hagi took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Venancio Hodei to make any attempt to save it. Grant Blacknell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Sagrario, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Camron Rhodes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Venancio Hodei made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camron Rhodes got free with Venancio Hodei in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Camron Rhodes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Venancio Hodei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Benigno Rito hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The supporters of Leicester Lions booed when Franja Dorada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Rito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Budzyn in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Tod Freeman notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei. Venancio Hodei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venancio Hodei was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Camron Rhodes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Camron Rhodes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. After a defensive mix-up in Leicester Lions's zone, Patricio Abajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grant Blacknell came out of the goal and Patricio Abajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mike Wadham took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Venancio Hodei. Venancio Hodei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-9. In the 96th minute of the match, Camron Rhodes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Venancio Hodei saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Franja Dorada from getting a goal against them. Tod Freeman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Venancio Hodei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leicester Lions's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
