Runar Støen came out and tried to block the shot, but Mauricio Jurdan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 12th minute. Åsnes's Runar Støen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Åsnes from getting a goal against them. When Åsnes's Kim Alnes in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Simbo FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Roman Bide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lis Tagliani scored 3-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Runar Støen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Petter Vartdal hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kim Alnes to make the kick off. Poyraz Erçetin hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Simbo FC's Feliberto Mouricio was substituted for Alberto Pitin. After 58 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Poyraz Erçetin. Runar Støen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Banegas in the 68th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Simbo FC's goalkeeper Octavio Lauaxeta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Vie. With a little luck, Simbo FC's Octavio Lauaxeta got control of the ball when Poyraz Erçetin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Simbo FC's Victoriano Banegas got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Runar Støen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lia Crucet, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Necdet Baysu hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Jonathan Vie scored 4-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octavio Lauaxeta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
