The audience thought a goal was coming when Eskild Sneftrup got free with Wellington Abraão in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wellington Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ieltxu Corales in the 18th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Daniel Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dinamo Colorado's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
