Zabulón Carabajal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lance Pate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute of the match, Celedonio Kemen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rickey Joseph was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Eustaquio Bartoli took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rickey Joseph to make any attempt to save it. Robbie Yom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Klavertje Vier's Zabulón Carabajal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Slater in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Eustaquio Bartoli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Key Biscayne FC's Rickey Joseph was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 34 minutes Key Biscayne FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Georges-Philippe Jooris who took care of the corner kick. Rickey Joseph made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie Yom in the 38th minute of play. With an all-out effort, FC Klavertje Vier's Rickey Joseph threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eustaquio Bartoli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, FC Klavertje Vier's Braulio Bento got a free kick in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Tristan Alford had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zabulón Carabajal. FC Klavertje Vier's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tristan Alford was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tristan Alford was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FC Klavertje Vier's goal looked a bit too open when Tristan Alford came free, but Zabulón Carabajal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Eustaquio Bartoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickey Joseph saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Drew Latham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Zabulón Carabajal made a huge save. Pierre Gebuers kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Rickey Joseph made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie Yom in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Kemen in the 93rd minute of play forced Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Rickey Joseph to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rickey Joseph made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Bento in the 95th minute of play. Key Biscayne FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
