Carlos Xabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Quico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes into the game, Nicanor Fero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. After 8 minutes of play, ZORZAL01's Honorio Quico made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Xabier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Los Trip's Carlos Xabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Fero in the 11th minute of play. In the 17th minute Honorio Quico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Xabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, ZORZAL01's Nicanor Fero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Xabier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 27 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Platon came free, but Mauricio Maura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Arsenio Maldonado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Xabier. Los Trip's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arsenio Maldonado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Ladislao Jaunzuria struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Carlos Xabier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZORZAL01. Arsenio Maldonado took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Xabier. Carlos Xabier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. After 45 played minutes ZORZAL01 got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Cortez.

Los Trip's Carlos Xabier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Los Trip from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as ZORZAL01's Ladislao Jaunzuria slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Xabier. That made the score 0-9 after 85 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Nardo got free with Carlos Xabier in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Fero came free, but Carlos Xabier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded ZORZAL01 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Trip.
