An unexpectedly hard shot by Doriva Pinho in the 13th minute of play forced 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's goalkeeper Blas Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Clube do Remo MZ's Tiaguinho Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Geleberto in the 26th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Clube do Remo MZ's Mário Maia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Blas Hulberto. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. Doriva Pinho took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blas Hulberto. Blas Hulberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The supporters of Clube do Remo MZ booed when 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Nesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's Blas Hulberto got control of the ball when Jano Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damaso Nesor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Damaso Nesor struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Tiaguinho Netto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976. With a little luck, 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's Blas Hulberto got control of the ball when Jano Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enrique Zonta was slow to take the kick. During this time Clube do Remo MZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Clube do Remo MZ's Enrique Zonta to fire away a dangerous shot which Blas Hulberto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luizão Vides hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor de Sena was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's goal looked a bit too open when Jano Valadares came free, but Blas Hulberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Valadares in the 62nd minute of play forced 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's goalkeeper Blas Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Hulberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jano Valadares in the 64th minute of the match. Gerardo Belo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Netto having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Clube do Remo MZ's Carlos Fernando Velloso got a free kick in the 75th minute. Blas Hulberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Jano Valadares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Blas Hulberto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976 defense, Doriva Pinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blas Hulberto. The 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blas Hulberto should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute, Feliberto Natanael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 minutes of play, Clube do Remo MZ's Victor de Sena made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blas Hulberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Clube do Remo MZ had played much better football throughout.
