Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SK Mons's Cornel Ulici started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Mons's goalkeeper Alex Pihl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Márcio Lago in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Pihl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Pihl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Cornel Ulici notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Expresso Ranelagh's Pablo Lohitzun. Pablo Lohitzun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cornel Ulici hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Expresso Ranelagh's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Smidts came free, but Pablo Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SK Mons's Alex Pihl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save SK Mons from getting a goal against them. Pablo Lohitzun came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Mons's Ruben Smidts. But to his dismay, Ruben Smidts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 35 minutes SK Mons's goalkeeper Alex Pihl managed, with a little bit of luck, save Valentino Rosas's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 1-2 came in the 35th minute when Valentino Rosas all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Alex Pihl. Zacarias Umea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Alex Pihl when he managed to save the team from getting behind. SK Mons's Alex Pihl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save SK Mons from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes in the game, Hipolito Mannie fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alex Pihl having to interfere. Pablo Lohitzun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Ulici in the 46th minute of the match. Pablo Lohitzun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornel Ulici, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zacarias Umea made a kick off. Alex Pihl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márcio Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Márcio Lago notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of SK Mons's Alex Pihl. Alex Pihl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, SK Mons's Diamantino Britto got a free kick in the 61st minute. SK Mons's Lennart Libesoons was substituted for Peng Xu. A collision led to SK Mons getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Diamantino Britto hit a great ball. Alex Pihl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Lago in the 66th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Expresso Ranelagh got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Mannie. In the 72nd minute Márcio Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Pihl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Expresso Ranelagh's goalkeeper Pablo Lohitzun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cornel Ulici. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SK Mons! The referee gave Expresso Ranelagh a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Valentino Rosas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SK Mons's Alex Pihl. 3-2. Expresso Ranelagh made a substitution. Svetoslav Vardarov replaced Márcio Lago. Cesare Raimondi kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The long shot by Şeref Erez in the 89th minute really tested Pablo Lohitzun's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 94th play minutes Svetoslav Vardarov shot 5-2, a short shot which went by Alex Pihl and just under the crossbar into goal. Alex Pihl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svetoslav Vardarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Expresso Ranelagh had played much better football throughout.
