Alfredo Campo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 4 played minutes Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ercole Rainaldi. Fausto Galliani scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fidel Lorien, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Albano Cambranes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monte Hermoso Beach's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Cambranes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Allegretti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Eloy Raymundo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudio Allegretti. The goal made the score 1-1. Timoteo Ermengol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's goalkeeper Claudio Allegretti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eloy Raymundo. In the 23rd match minute, Monte Hermoso Beach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Gil to maneuver through the defense. Fidel Lorien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Galliani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fidel Lorien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Cardano, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the Monte Hermoso Beach defense, Fausto Galliani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fidel Lorien. The Monte Hermoso Beach fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Lorien should have stopped the shot. Monte Hermoso Beach's Fidel Lorien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Cardano in the 38th minute of play. When Donato Pietrini fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's protests and gave Donato Pietrini a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Pietrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Eloy Raymundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte Hermoso Beach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eloy Raymundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eloy Raymundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Claudio Allegretti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Raymundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Fausto Galliani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Galliani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Cambranes in the 75th minute of play forced Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's goalkeeper Claudio Allegretti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Raymundo came free, but Claudio Allegretti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Eloy Raymundo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudio Allegretti was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 81st minute, Ferruccio Corvasce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's zone, Eloy Raymundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Allegretti came out of the goal and Eloy Raymundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
