If Emanuel Markham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lirim Osja got free with Borys Witek in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 15 played minutes Mali i Thatë FC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Peshkatari. Borys Witek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eneid Ilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rdth minute of the game Kent Remme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mali i Thatë FC's Drini Kapaj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Brufoss IL's zone, Lirim Osja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Borys Witek came out of the goal and Lirim Osja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Emanuel Markham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mali i Thatë FC's Drini Kapaj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lirim Osja made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Lirim Osja had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Borys Witek. Brufoss IL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lirim Osja was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 65th minute, Aldo Peshkatari made a precise shot to the right of Borys Witek. Brufoss IL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Brufoss IL made a substitution. Kevin Strømsnes replaced Jan-Kenneth Heistad. Brufoss IL's Frode Tobiassen was substituted for Kai Østbye. Brufoss IL's Christer Ribe got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Olgert Gjasyla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mali i Thatë FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brufoss IL the free kick. A collision led to Mali i Thatë FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Olgert Gjasyla hit a great ball. Brufoss IL's Frode Tobiassen got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Markham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Drini Kapaj was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 77th minute of the match Brufoss IL got a corner. Mali i Thatë FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frode Tobiassen ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Brufoss IL's corner Emanuel Markham fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Drini Kapaj quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emmanuel Schol during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Frode Tobiassen took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Drini Kapaj to make any attempt to save it. Borys Witek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eneid Ilo in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Kent Remme dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Drini Kapaj, 2-6. Drini Kapaj came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham. But to his dismay, Emanuel Markham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-7. The Brufoss IL supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Brufoss IL would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
