Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pascal Prinzing started the match with the kick off. When Michel Batistuta fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Purple Talents's protests and gave Michel Batistuta a yellow card for diving instead. Michel Batistuta hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. From a short distance, Hertha 1969's Pascal Prinzing, in the 4th minute, tried to place the ball behind Steve Van der Veeken, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. If Qiu Feng Guo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 5 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Qiu Feng Guo came free, but Tjark Ernst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th match minute, Hertha 1969 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Prinzing to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Purple Talents booed when Hertha 1969 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Achleitner didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Lara Scherz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hertha 1969's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Purple Talents the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Lara Scherz got a free kick in the 15th minute. Yvan Loos took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tjark Ernst. Tjark Ernst dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Donato Azevedo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascal Prinzing in the 19th minute of play forced Purple Talents's goalkeeper Steve Van der Veeken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Batistuta hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's goal looked a bit too open when Hendrik Behloch came free, but Steve Van der Veeken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steve Van der Veeken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Prinzing, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Tjark Ernst came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Purple Talents's Qiu Feng Guo. But to his dismay, Qiu Feng Guo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tjark Ernst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qiu Feng Guo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Purple Talents getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jelle Manaers hit a great ball. Gero Andersen's late challenge caught a Purple Talents's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gero Andersen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Gero Andersen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hertha 1969's Tjark Ernst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qiu Feng Guo in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Purple Talents were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michel Batistuta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Qiu Feng Guo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tjark Ernst. That made the score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. In the 56th minute Pascal Prinzing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve Van der Veeken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Qiu Feng Guo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tjark Ernst was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Purple Talents's Yvan Loos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Axel Schwarz in the 59 minute of the game. Hendrik Behloch scored 1-3 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Steve Van der Veeken, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hertha 1969 made a substitution. Adam Jäckel replaced Gero Andersen. Tjark Ernst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristiaan Van den Haute in the 67th minute. Steve Van der Veeken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Prinzing in the 69th minute of play. Steve Van der Veeken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hendrik Behloch, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Axel Schwarz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Steve Van der Veeken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascal Prinzing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Jäckel came free, but Steve Van der Veeken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steve Van der Veeken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hendrik Behloch in the 86th minute of play. Reemy Godefroid did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-4 to the left of a surprised Tjark Ernst 93 minutes into the match. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when Purple Talents was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Koffidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Purple Talents players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
