The supporters of Campus Douro Academy booed when Pendotiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo de Andrade was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xavier Brás showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. In the 45th minute, Américo Ramires reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Evaristo de Andrade. The goal made the score 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Graciano Flores was the one to do the kick off. Evaristo de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Ramires in the 50th minute of play. After some careless play in the Pendotiba defense, Xavier Brás kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo de Andrade. The Pendotiba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo de Andrade should have stopped the shot. Américo Ramires might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo de Andrade. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Américo Ramires ran back to his position shaking his head. Evaristo de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Ramires in the 63rd minute of play. Evaristo de Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Américo Ramires's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Campus Douro Academy fully deserved thier win.
