Damián Blue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaggelis Pantelidis having to interfere. West Town SC were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after GREEN LIONS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jeremias Pallar took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippos Koutsokefalakis in the 15th minute of play forced West Town SC's goalkeeper Marcelo Rius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano Gimenez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Vaggelis Pantelidis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gerasimos Vasilarakos kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. With a little luck, GREEN LIONS's Vaggelis Pantelidis got control of the ball when Roberto Blue tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Roberto Blue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when West Town SC's Roberto Blue in the 28th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Vaggelis Pantelidis was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for GREEN LIONS through an amazing save. Vaggelis Pantelidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Buck Blue in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, GREEN LIONS's Gerasimos Vasilarakos got a free kick in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Laureano Gimenez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vaggelis Pantelidis was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 36 minutes, Laureano Gimenez made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. GREEN LIONS's Vaggelis Pantelidis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The West Town SC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when West Town SC's Roberto Blue looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. With an all-out effort, West Town SC's Vaggelis Pantelidis threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roberto Blue, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Roberto Blue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46thth minute of the game Roberto Blue who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GREEN LIONS's Vaggelis Pantelidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laureano Gimenez scored 3-0 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vaggelis Pantelidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Demis Laggizos to make the kick off. If Filippos Kopelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Dimitris Petriniotis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vaggelis Pantelidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laureano Gimenez's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute West Town SC were awarded a corner. Jeremias Pallar went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on West Town SC's corner Jeremias Pallar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vaggelis Pantelidis quite easily take care of the ball. After 76 minutes of play, West Town SC's Damián Blue made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vaggelis Pantelidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of West Town SC booed when GREEN LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Vakaros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Blue scored 5-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vaggelis Pantelidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of West Town SC booed when GREEN LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippos Kopelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kostas Vakaros's late challenge caught a West Town SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kostas Vakaros helped the player get up and apologised. Jeremias Pallar missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 91 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Vaggelis Pantelidis right hand side. In the 95th minute, Roberto Blue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Dimitris Petriniotis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GREEN LIONS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave West Town SC the free kick. The supporters of West Town SC booed when GREEN LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Petriniotis didn't get a good kick on the ball.
