Paulo Neves started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Daniel Weather hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Namık Hafız in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo de Andrade saved Pendotiba from getting behind. When Pendotiba's Cristian Hoffmann in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lions Of Turks's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Trigo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pendotiba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lions Of Turks the free kick. After some careless play in the Lions Of Turks defense, Cristian Hoffmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cengiz Bozbey. The Lions Of Turks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cengiz Bozbey should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Gencay Akbayrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Allan Arruda fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pendotiba's protests and gave Allan Arruda a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pendotiba getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Allan Arruda hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Lions Of Turks's Namık Hafız dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Pendotiba's Evaristo de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Namık Hafız in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Cabbar Özkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Hakkı Tanyeri's late challenge caught a Pendotiba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehmet Hakkı Tanyeri helped the player get up and apologised. Cristian Hoffmann scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cengiz Bozbey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Namık Hafız made a kick off. If Cristian Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lions Of Turks's Cengiz Bozbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Hoffmann in the 54th minute of play. Evaristo de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Namık Hafız, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Ricardinho Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Pendotiba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardinho Trigo couldn't finish the play. Lions Of Turks:s Cengiz Bozbey showed great skill when he stopped Cristian Hoffmann:s penalty. 66 minutes into the match, Cristian Hoffmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cengiz Bozbey. Lions Of Turks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Hoffmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 73 minutes into the match, Lions Of Turks's Çetin Özdoru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evaristo de Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lions Of Turks's Cengiz Bozbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Hoffmann in the 76th minute of play. Daniel Weather hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Evaristo de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çetin Özdoru in the 82nd minute of the match. Cengiz Bozbey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Hoffmann in the 85th minute. Ricardinho Trigo got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Lions Of Turks booed when Pendotiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardinho Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pendotiba's zone, Namık Hafız stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo de Andrade came out of the goal and Namık Hafız tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cabbar Özkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Pendotiba booed when Lions Of Turks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnsteinn Guðbjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pendotiba's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
