Jari Welling started the match with the kick off. Jyrki Rajamäki made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Castel Espino sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Palloketut getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Urmas Vuorinen hit a great ball. Palloketut's Jyrki Rajamäki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emesto Villarreal in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Airetupal EXC booed when Palloketut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salomon Itäluoma didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Palloketut's Jari Welling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Calero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Jari Welling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palloketut's supporters rose to their feet, but Jari Welling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Calero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Palloketut's goalkeeper Jyrki Rajamäki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zernin Mendivil. Jyrki Rajamäki was a little too slow when Zernin Mendivil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. Airetupal EXC's Miguel Calero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jari Welling in the 24th minute of play. Palloketut's Veijo Lähtelä was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Miguel Calero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Miguel Calero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Urmas Vuorinen's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. When Urmas Vuorinen, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 28 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Miguel Calero was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Emesto Villarreal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jyrki Rajamäki. Palloketut's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emesto Villarreal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 38th minute Jari Welling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Calero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Calero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jari Welling in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Artturi Vahalahti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emesto Villarreal had several of the Palloketut's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 43 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Jyrki Rajamäki as he didn't even see the shot coming. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Miguel Calero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jari Welling, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 53 minutes of play, Palloketut's Jari Welling made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Calero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jari Welling might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Calero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jari Welling ran back to his position shaking his head. After 67 minutes, Zernin Mendivil made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Palloketut's Jyrki Rajamäki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Emesto Villarreal might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jyrki Rajamäki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emesto Villarreal ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Palloketut's goal looked a bit too open when Zernin Mendivil came free, but Jyrki Rajamäki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Airetupal EXC booed when Palloketut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alpi Askolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emesto Villarreal in the 91st minute of play forced Palloketut's goalkeeper Jyrki Rajamäki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rami Lehto fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palloketut's protests and gave Rami Lehto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Palloketut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rami Lehto to maneuver through the defense. After 96 minutes, Zernin Mendivil made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Palloketut's Jyrki Rajamäki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Airetupal EXC fully deserved thier win.
