AFC FUSION's Gerardo Beila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Cozorici in the 11th minute of play. Vlad Voican showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Nunez Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC FUSION's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nunez Arias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Dan Stelaru made a precise shot to the right of Gerardo Beila. AFC FUSION's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Cozorici came free, but Gerardo Beila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Adrio got a throw-in 32 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gonzalo Garaona. 33 minutes into the game, Nunez Arias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vlad Voican was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nunez Arias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Vlad Voican made a huge save. The throw-in from Nestor Adrio in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Viorel Burdea. After having played for 44 minutes, Nunez Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Nunez Arias made the kick off in the second half. When Eric Hulubei was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played.
