Ronaldão dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Ogazón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 3 played minutes Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ got a freekick which was hit by Roman Ramos. Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Bengi Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto Galvão in the 5th minute of play. Leon Ogazón took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldão dos Santos. Ronaldão dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sílvio Luís Matorin made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Carlos Augusto Galvão. 18 minutes into the game, Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Leon Ogazón nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronaldão dos Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Leon Ogazón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leon Ogazón made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Quebra Ossos FC's Betão Marinho got a free kick in the 51st minute. Leon Ogazón recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tom Misaki struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Ronaldão dos Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖. When Aírton Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quebra Ossos FC's protests and gave Aírton Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Quebra Ossos FC got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Queirós. Leon Ogazón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldão dos Santos having to interfere. If Leon Ogazón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, Roman Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Ronaldão dos Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leon Ogazón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Ronaldão dos Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Quebra Ossos FC booed when Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Abecia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Leon Ogazón got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damaso Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ronaldão dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Leon Ogazón cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Ronaldão dos Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Quebra Ossos FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
