Alonso Javier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Vítor Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Vampiros Aztecas getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Teo Lon hit a great ball. José Vítor Aparecido might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alonso Javier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Vítor Aparecido ran back to his position shaking his head. Alonso Javier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Vítor Aparecido went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Vampiros Aztecas's Alonso Javier got control of the ball when José Vítor Aparecido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vampiros Aztecas's Alonso Javier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Lain in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Flavinho Velloso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Braga Junior FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vampiros Aztecas the free kick. The supporters of Vampiros Aztecas booed when Braga Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavinho Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, José Vítor Aparecido notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Vampiros Aztecas's Alonso Javier. Alonso Javier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Emilio Lain came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Braga Junior FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Lain couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Valentin Nesor in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Braga Junior FC's Edison Brena. In the 28th minute, Alfredinho Botelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alonso Javier was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 35th minute, Braga Junior FC's Emilio Lain ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alonso Javier. Alonso Javier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. After 37 played minutes Vampiros Aztecas got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Gaskon. Braga Junior FC's attentive Edison Brena managed to snatch the ball when Valentin Nesor made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. If Emilio Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Vítor Aparecido to make the kick off. Alonso Javier came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Braga Junior FC's José Vítor Aparecido. But to his dismay, José Vítor Aparecido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Alonso Javier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
