With his leg Eddie Östman managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Brothers of Mercy's Ulf Öfverman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eddie Östman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Öfverman in the 13th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ulf Öfverman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eddie Östman was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Eddie Östman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Feng Qian showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 22 minute of play. Brothers of Mercy's Dan Björk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ted Ödmann, made in the 25th minute of the game. In the 28th minute, Ulf Öfverman made a precise shot to the right of Eddie Östman. The Gonzez's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Bengtsson in the 31st minute of play forced Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Alexandre Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulf Öfverman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ulf Öfverman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute Mattias Qvalfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Brothers of Mercy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. With an all-out effort, The Gonzez's Alexandre Pires threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elias Hök, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Brothers of Mercy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
