With a little luck, Vampiros Aztecas's Urbano Berto got control of the ball when Vito Bonito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Urbano Berto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Bonito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Arturo Serafo fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vampiros Aztecas's protests and gave Arturo Serafo a yellow card for diving instead. The Vampiros Aztecas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urbano Berto should have stopped the shot. If Vito Bonito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Urbano Berto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Bonito in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vampiros Aztecas's goalkeeper Urbano Berto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angelino Froila was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Urbano Berto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Bonito in the 91st minute of play forced Vampiros Aztecas's goalkeeper Urbano Berto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vito Bonito during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
