Kees Veentjer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Telesforo in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, eDp! Gaming FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Azeari had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Vaalman. With a little luck, eDp! Gaming FC's Rodrigo Azeari got control of the ball when Oscar Vaalman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodrigo Azeari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Vaalman in the 24th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruud Geels was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Verwachting booed when eDp! Gaming FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Urbez didn't get a good kick on the ball. eDp! Gaming FC's Rodrigo Azeari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Vaalman in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theo Zoontjens in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Azeari saved eDp! Gaming FC from getting behind. In the 62nd minute, Ruud Geels left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Verwachting fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Kees Veentjer made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Patricio Telesforo sent off a good shot on target.
