Hamílton Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Sundberg in the 7th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, October 04's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Sundberg came free, but Hamílton Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamílton Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Sundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 16 minutes of play, Pihl United's Tommy Sundberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hamílton Rezende was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, Daniel Waselewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hamílton Rezende. October 04's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Waselewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Tommy Sundberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamílton Rezende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Waselewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamílton Rezende was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Sundberg in the 39th minute of play forced October 04's goalkeeper Hamílton Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pihl United booed when October 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Tommy Sundberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hamílton Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Waselewicz in the 47th minute of play. The October 04 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pihl United were winning 0-2.

After a rather tough play, Pihl United's Nicolaas Anelka got a free kick in the 50th minute. Wilian Alcântara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gottfrid Haström. Pihl United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hamílton Rezende came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pihl United's Daniel Waselewicz. But to his dismay, Daniel Waselewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 56th minute of the match, Tommy Sundberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hamílton Rezende saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 57 minutes October 04's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luc Fontaine who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tommy Sundberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but October 04's Hamílton Rezende did a great save. The Pihl United fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Pihl United's Tommy Sundberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Tommy Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pihl United's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Sundberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamílton Rezende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enrique Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Rezende having to interfere. After 64 played minutes October 04 got a freekick which was hit by Tião Amaral. Hamílton Rezende acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 68th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Enrique Ferreira. Hamílton Rezende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Sundberg's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After 72 played minutes October 04 got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Barbosa. Hamílton Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Sundberg in the 75th minute of play. Hamílton Rezende was a little too slow when Tommy Sundberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-5. 81 minutes into the match, October 04's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Sundberg came free, but Hamílton Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Sundberg in the 82nd minute of play forced October 04's goalkeeper Hamílton Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Pihl United got a corner. October 04's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luc Fontaine ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hamílton Rezende made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Daniel Waselewicz sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by October 04's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luc Fontaine was slow to take the kick. During this time Pihl United's players had a chance to rest. If Enrique Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The October 04 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pihl United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
