Gaafar Jesus might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fisnik Fart. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdi Saygın Lefter was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kenan Yıldız to make the kick off. Örebro FF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
