In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Delta FS's goalkeeper Tarcísio Leite, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vasco Ribas hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Zhao Jing Jing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute Hugo Kuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcísio Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Isaksson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Tarcísio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Isaksson in the 40th minute of play. Andaka Ramelow hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Hugo Kuse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Delta FS's Vasco Ribas got a free kick in the 45th minute. Tarcísio Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Carvalhal in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

52 minutes into the match, Snett★inåt★bakåt's Marcus Isaksson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tarcísio Leite narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alex Martinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcísio Leite having to interfere. If Mikael Jönsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
