Christian Wenerdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Isaksson in the 5th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, IFK Göteborg's Jens-Ove Lindkvist got a free kick in the 6th minute. Snett★inåt★bakåt's Fernando Carvalhal got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Wenerdahl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Carvalhal's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Marcus Isaksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Christian Wenerdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Ingvar Hellgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. IFK Göteborg's Christian Wenerdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Carvalhal in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Carvalhal in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Wenerdahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21 minutes, Fernando Carvalhal made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. IFK Göteborg's Christian Wenerdahl tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the game, Snett★inåt★bakåt's Marcus Isaksson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Wenerdahl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Mikael Jönsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Kenneth Kvarnström managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when IFK Göteborg's Ingvar Hellgren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Snett★inåt★bakåt's zone, Karl-Ove Blomkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Kvarnström came out of the goal and Karl-Ove Blomkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to IFK Göteborg getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Oliviero Moreno hit a great ball. Hugo Kuse shot from long distance after 34 played minutes, a shot that Christian Wenerdahl with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Mikael Jönsson took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Wenerdahl. Christian Wenerdahl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The supporters of Snett★inåt★bakåt booed when IFK Göteborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ove Lindkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
51 minutes into the match, Alex Martinsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christian Wenerdahl, 0-4. In the 56th minute of the match Snett★inåt★bakåt got a corner. IFK Göteborg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hugo Kuse ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hugo Kuse made a great header on Snett★inåt★bakåt's corner, it was just that IFK Göteborg's Christian Wenerdahl managed to reach the ball for a save. Christian Wenerdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Carvalhal in the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Hellgren in the 60th minute of play forced Snett★inåt★bakåt's goalkeeper Kenneth Kvarnström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Fernando Carvalhal put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Christian Wenerdahl.
