The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Goito got free with Slaven Dietze in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Slaven Dietze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santos Goito in the 9th minute. Gerardo Romeros short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Slaven Dietze to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Chuscha FC - Ψ - were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Academica Pulheim's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thomas Barrios took the corner. The corner ended in Thomas Barrios almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Academica Pulheim's Slaven Dietze did a great save. In the 21st minute Carsten Boy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Ubarna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Ubarna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carsten Boy's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. A hard shot 22 in the game by Santos Goito from a close distance when the talented Slaven Dietze managed to make a qualified save. Academica Pulheim's players were relieved. Erubiel Herauso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Slaven Dietze made a huge save. The supporters of Academica Pulheim booed when Chuscha FC - Ψ - was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Handi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prudencio Ubarna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pinkus Mack, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Academica Pulheim's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Herauso came free, but Slaven Dietze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s goal looked a bit too open when Pinkus Mack came free, but Prudencio Ubarna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slaven Dietze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erubiel Herauso in the 42nd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Academica Pulheim's Slaven Dietze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Handi in the 54th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Chuscha FC - Ψ -:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Academica Pulheim:s goal. Prudencio Ubarna went to the wrong direction when Moritz Christe was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Academica Pulheim made a substitution. Florian Schulitz replaced Moritz Christe. 59 minutes into the game, Edgar Gomminginger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academica Pulheim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chuscha FC - Ψ - the free kick. After 59 played minutes Academica Pulheim got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Gomminginger. 60 minutes into the match, Academica Pulheim's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Romero came free, but Slaven Dietze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Gerardo Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slaven Dietze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Chuscha FC - Ψ - was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Barrios to maneuver through the defense. Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s Prudencio Ubarna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Chuscha FC - Ψ - from getting a goal against them. Academica Pulheim were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Malte Rastätter took the corner. Pinkus Mack could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Prudencio Ubarna made a huge save. With a little luck, Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s Prudencio Ubarna got control of the ball when Ali Köpsel tried to sneak it across the goal line.
