After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Thomas Zielinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. International Thunders's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Zielinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomás Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomás Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Trac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th match minute, International Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrit Dohr to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, International Thunders's Thorsten Ternes got control of the ball when Eugen Lupea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thomás Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Hainl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugen Lupea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Thorsten Ternes made a huge save. After 13 played minutes International Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Tim Köppen. In the 15th minute Damian Trac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes International Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Damian Trac. Thomás Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Trac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomás Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Trac in the 26th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Damian Trac left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The International Thunders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Eugen Lupea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Thorsten Ternes made a huge save. Thomás Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Zielinski in the 33rd minute of the match. International Thunders's Thorsten Ternes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Vermeşan in the 34th minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, International Thunders's Thomas Zielinski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomás Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half International Thunders were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remus Vermeşan made a kick off. In the 51st minute Jan Haase shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, International Thunders's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Lupea came free, but Thorsten Ternes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the International Thunders defense, Eugen Lupea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thorsten Ternes. The International Thunders fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thorsten Ternes should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Jan Haase's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomás Linares was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 67th minute, Gerrit Dohr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the game, Tim Köppen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. International Thunders's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ASF BAIA MARE -MM- the free kick. A collision led to International Thunders getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tim Köppen hit a great ball. After 71 minutes, Remus Vermeşan made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. International Thunders's Thorsten Ternes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Gheorghiu in the 77th minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Thorsten Ternes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Jan Haase shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Thomas Zielinski came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the International Thunders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Zielinski couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Vermeşan in the 86th minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Thorsten Ternes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thorsten Ternes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Vermeşan in the 89th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Patric Rudersdorfer made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Thomás Linares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Thomás Linares managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when International Thunders's Patric Rudersdorfer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The ASF BAIA MARE -MM- supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching International Thunders's performance. The match ended with a win for International Thunders.
