An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Sobolewski in the 8th minute of play forced Northern California's goalkeeper Domingos Savier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Lee Sissons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gary Ingram showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Isazi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Sergio Heriberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute of the match, Gustavo Isazi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gary Ingram saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, Northern California's Gary Ingram threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonathan Bernaldo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Northern California were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Korona Kielce's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sergio Heriberto took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Heriberto got free with Gary Ingram in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pawel Sobolewski charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pawel Sobolewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 minutes of play, Northern California's Gustavo Isazi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gary Ingram was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gary Ingram took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 played minutes Korona Kielce got a freekick which was hit by Nial Todd. Gary Ingram showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Bernaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th match minute, Korona Kielce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerry Furniss to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stephen Duxbury made a kick off. In the 58th minute Gustavo Isazi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gary Ingram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 played minutes Northern California got a freekick which was hit by Bernard McFrank. Felipe Ereinotz took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gary Ingram. Gary Ingram dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 74th minute, Korona Kielce's Nial Todd seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nial Todd the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Korona Kielce protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nial Todd had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Korona Kielce:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Northern California:s goal. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Northern California. Gustavo Isazi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gary Ingram. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Heriberto in the 82nd minute of play forced Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Gary Ingram to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacek Kielb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Northern California's Felipe Ereinotz got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Northern California fans cheered their team off the field, for while Korona Kielce had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
