George Schiau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alarico Navarro having to interfere. Alarico Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Schiau in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Arvin Gerdberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by la Conarda C.F.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Basarab Panduru was slow to take the kick. During this time New York Red Bulls's players had a chance to rest. In the 27th minute, Berkan Temel made a precise shot to the right of Alarico Navarro. la Conarda C.F.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, la Conarda C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Berkan Temel came free, but Alarico Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes New York Red Bulls got a freekick which was hit by George Schiau. In the 36th minute of the match, Berkan Temel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alarico Navarro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Berkan Temel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alarico Navarro having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Eutropio Vera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardo Pereyra was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 46th minute, New York Red Bulls's Berkan Temel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walery Roman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Berkan Temel took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alarico Navarro. Alarico Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Eduardo Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eutropio Vera, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Marian Balint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Dorado got free with Eduardo Pereyra in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62ndth minute of the game Eutropio Vera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New York Red Bulls's Eduardo Pereyra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The la Conarda C.F. fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when la Conarda C.F.'s Eutropio Vera looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alarico Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Balint, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Eduardo Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natal Quintanilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The supporters of la Conarda C.F. booed when New York Red Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkan Temel didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. New York Red Bulls fully deserved thier win.
