After taking down the ball on Lealtad Futbol Club's corner Sergio Mendi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christovao Haces quite easily take care of the ball. Rodo's Christovao Haces proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Club Dep. Soc. Rodo from getting a goal against them. After 23 minutes of play, Lealtad Futbol Club's Toro Martínez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christovao Haces was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Toro Martínez got free with Christovao Haces in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toro Martínez might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christovao Haces. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toro Martínez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st match minute, Lealtad Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlín Echeto to maneuver through the defense. After 35 played minutes Club Dep. Soc. Rodo got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Barcaiztegui. A hard shot 36 in the game by Toro Martínez from a close distance when the talented Christovao Haces managed to make a qualified save. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's players were relieved. In the 39th minute, Toro Martínez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Christovao Haces made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Zarraga in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Fabricio Zarraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christovao Haces saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Fabricio Zarraga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Vasco Larrangos got a free kick in the 81st minute. Manex Pajazo's late challenge caught a Lealtad Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manex Pajazo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manex Pajazo to maneuver through the defense. Christovao Haces showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Zarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Lealtad Futbol Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
