Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Huib van der Gun started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Christian Liknes notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of NFC Eagles 22's Robert-Jan Hermensen. Robert-Jan Hermensen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robert-Jan Hermensen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Liknes in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Daustad's goal looked a bit too open when Huib van der Gun came free, but Idar Istad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Handi Harri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, NFC Eagles 22's Arjan Kun got a free kick in the 18th minute. It was beautiful to see Daustad's Lasse Forsmo in action when he in the 20th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 23rd minute, Huib van der Gun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert-Jan Hermensen made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Sebastian Kvernmo sent off a good shot on target. Freek Saarloos hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Giovanni Rademaker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd match minute, NFC Eagles 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dolf van Dongen to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Christian Liknes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robert-Jan Hermensen. That made the score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. Idar Istad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freek Saarloos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43rd play minutes Huib van der Gun shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Idar Istad and just under the crossbar into goal. Idar Istad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huib van der Gun in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Liknes to strike the kick off in the second half. Huib van der Gun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sebastian Kvernmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, Daustad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Rydland to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Sebastian Kvernmo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of NFC Eagles 22's Robert-Jan Hermensen. Robert-Jan Hermensen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 81 minutes of play NFC Eagles 22's Huib van der Gun was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 82nd match minute, NFC Eagles 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huib van der Gun to maneuver through the defense. Giovanni Craandijk kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, NFC Eagles 22's Jan Tulner seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jan Tulner the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of NFC Eagles 22 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jan Tulner had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jan Tulner hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Lasse Forsmo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robert-Jan Hermensen. NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Daustad had played much better football throughout.
