The Club Dep. Soc. Rodo fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Blas Bolaños looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Christovao Haces made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huib van der Gun in the 11th minute of play. Juan-Carlos Otero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert-Jan Hermensen having to interfere. After 16 minutes of play, NFC Eagles 22's Giovanni Rademaker made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christovao Haces was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 19 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Jan Tulner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Huib van der Gun in the 23rd minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Christovao Haces to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Huib van der Gun came free, but Christovao Haces reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, NFC Eagles 22's Freek Saarloos made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christovao Haces was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Huib van der Gun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Huib van der Gun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Christovao Haces when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of NFC Eagles 22 booed when Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manex Pajazo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Giovanni Rademaker notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Christovao Haces. Christovao Haces was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Christovao Haces proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Club Dep. Soc. Rodo from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Huib van der Gun to strike the kick off in the second half. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Christovao Haces played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huib van der Gun in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Christovao Haces, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alessandro Regueira kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Jan Tulner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christovao Haces having to make a save. Domenik de Vos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christovao Haces having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Huib van der Gun in the 69th minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Christovao Haces to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Huib van der Gun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 87 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Huib van der Gun came free, but Christovao Haces reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NFC Eagles 22's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
