The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Monks in Robes's Dennis Kølbel got a free kick in the 7th minute. Aureliano Obeko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sune Heidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes, Martin Asier made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Monks in Robes's Bøje Dyssen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Monks in Robes's Bøje Dyssen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Richie in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leones FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Obeko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Martin Asier took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bøje Dyssen. Bøje Dyssen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Aureliano Obeko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sune Heidal to make the kick off. When Nestor Rito fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leones FC's protests and gave Nestor Rito a yellow card for diving instead. Nestor Rito kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Aureliano Obeko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sune Heidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Sune Heidal notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Leones FC's Aureliano Obeko. Aureliano Obeko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th minute, Javier Richie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aureliano Obeko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Heidal in the 60th minute of play. Kenny Ebsøe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Obeko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinar Lennild in the 87th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Richie during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Javier Richie hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match Reinar Lennild sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aureliano Obeko skillfully saved the ball. After 92 played minutes Monks in Robes got a freekick which was hit by Mauritz Haugsted. Bøje Dyssen was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Ciro Ferdinand capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciro Ferdinand really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Leones FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Monks in Robes's much stronger midfield.
