Grêmio Papão de WC were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Inmortales FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dráuzio Queiroz took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Tomás Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inmortales FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moisés da Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moisés da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasper Agoos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Orville Jacobson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Horácio Prestes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio Papão de WC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inmortales FC the free kick. In the 14th minute, Horácio Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Inmortales FC fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Inmortales FC's Jasper Agoos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Moisés da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orville Jacobson in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Horácio Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moisés da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Luiz Maia hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Grêmio Papão de WC's Hílton Prata was substituted for Norberto Quadros. Grêmio Papão de WC's Luiz Fábio Vinhas was substituted for Diogo Vidal. Moisés da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orville Jacobson in the 33rd minute of play. The corner led Inmortales FC's Larry Colby to fire away a dangerous shot which Moisés da Silveira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 36th minute Tomás Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grêmio Papão de WC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orville Jacobson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Orville Jacobson sped through Grêmio Papão de WC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Moisés da Silveira. 48 minutes into the match, Inmortales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Amorim came free, but Toby Herget reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

With a little luck, Grêmio Papão de WC's Moisés da Silveira got control of the ball when Tomás Garcia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moisés da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orville Jacobson, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 58 played minutes Inmortales FC got a freekick which was hit by Sandy Barnhart. Moisés da Silveira made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Tomás Garcia sent off a good shot on target. Moisés da Silveira was a little too slow when Jasper Agoos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-5. After having played for 71 minutes, Tomás Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inmortales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Moisés da Silveira made a huge save. The supporters of Inmortales FC booed when Grêmio Papão de WC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráuzio Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inmortales FC's Larry Colby got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Larry Colby made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Orville Jacobson however managed to control. Grêmio Papão de WC's Moisés da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Garcia in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Orville Jacobson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Moisés da Silveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Grêmio Papão de WC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Inmortales FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
