Goal Kick. When Gervasio Xabel came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Olimpo de Bahia Blanca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Xabel couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Vinicio Reyes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ordóñez Cuesta. Taltum FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinicio Reyes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 14th match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Berinduaga to maneuver through the defense. When Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Gervasio Xabel in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taltum FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ordóñez Cuesta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Xabel, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Gervasio Xabel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 22 minutes of play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Ubaldo Vedillo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ordóñez Cuesta was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute, Mellington Aniego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Vinicio Reyes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ordóñez Cuesta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ordóñez Cuesta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ubaldo Vedillo went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Fabio Diez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose-Antonio Fortuño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Javier Gutxi in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Taltum FC's Jose-Antonio Fortuño. The Taltum FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca were winning 0-4.

A collision led to Olimpo de Bahia Blanca getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Delmar Erauso hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Ubaldo Vedillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ordóñez Cuesta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Vinicio Reyes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ordóñez Cuesta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Taltum FC's Ordóñez Cuesta got control of the ball when Ubaldo Vedillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gonzalo Canton fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taltum FC's protests and gave Gonzalo Canton a yellow card for diving instead. Gonzalo Canton kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinicio Reyes in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ordóñez Cuesta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Ubaldo Vedillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Delmar Erauso got a free kick in the 71st minute. Fabio Diez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xines Herriaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Xines Herriaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Fabio Diez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goalkeeper Ordóñez Cuesta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ubaldo Vedillo. The supporters of Taltum FC booed when Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Vedillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goal looked a bit too open when Jose-Antonio Fortuño came free, but Fabio Diez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca played a much better game than Taltum FC and deserved their victory. The Taltum FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
