If Evelio Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Eduardo Beltrami put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Carter Gargano. In the 29th minute Emanuel Holm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Gargano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carter Gargano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Beltrami in the 29th minute. Waldemar Pawlik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Telmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Beltrami in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carter Gargano saved Doping Positivo from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Beltrami during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eduardo Beltrami kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Waldemar Pawlik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Urbasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st match minute, Grimório was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Holm to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Holm scored 4-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carter Gargano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Doping Positivo made a substitution. Roque Laurin replaced Damaso Udalaitz. After a defensive mix-up in Doping Positivo's zone, Eduardo Beltrami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carter Gargano came out of the goal and Eduardo Beltrami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Grimório's Waldemar Pawlik got control of the ball when Roque Laurin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grimório's Thomás Carneiro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Camilo Aznar, made in the 85th minute of the game. Grimório's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
