After a defensive mix-up in Gleszcz SSA's zone, César Rosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Juzda came out of the goal and César Rosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdulkadir Çokman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Sarmento having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Abdulkadir Çokman took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ruy Sarmento to make any attempt to save it. Marzagão's Ruy Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Marzagão from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Marzagão booed when Gleszcz SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Malewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Juzda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Mar in the 20th minute of play. Pedro Luís Fernandez charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Luís Fernandez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Fernandez. In the 22nd minute of the match Roch Sala shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruy Sarmento showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Abdulkadir Çokman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jerzy Jekot might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruy Sarmento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerzy Jekot ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Malewicz got free with Ruy Sarmento in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Marzagão's zone, Jerzy Jekot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruy Sarmento came out of the goal and Jerzy Jekot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonard Zachemski kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Alberto Prado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgar Juzda. Gleszcz SSA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerzy Jekot to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Gleszcz SSA's goalkeeper Edgar Juzda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neil Mar. 54 minutes into the game, Jerzy Jekot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ruy Sarmento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Gleszcz SSA fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Gleszcz SSA's Roman Malewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Marzagão's goalkeeper Ruy Sarmento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Marzagão's zone, Roman Malewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruy Sarmento came out of the goal and Roman Malewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marzagão's Ruy Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Jekot in the 86th minute of play. Jerzy Jekot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Jekot came free, but Ruy Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 minutes, Gilberto Saraiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marzagão and the Gleszcz SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Marzagão getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Gilberto Saraiva hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Jerzy Jekot made a precise shot to the right of Ruy Sarmento. Marzagão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. There was no doubt that Gleszcz SSA were the better team. Gleszcz SSA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
