In the 20th minute, SAN LORENZO FC's Ciriaco Cordarrell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Ciriaco Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adan Bembe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villa La Perla's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcelo Michael was slow to take the kick. During this time SAN LORENZO FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led SAN LORENZO FC's Marcelo Michael to fire away a dangerous shot which Adan Bembe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 36th match minute, Villa La Perla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Stål to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Villa La Perla's Venancio Santio got a free kick in the 38th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciriaco Cordarrell made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adan Bembe saved Villa La Perla from getting behind. When Fabricio Dunixi fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAN LORENZO FC's protests and gave Fabricio Dunixi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Fabricio Dunixi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Tuste in the 55th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper John Locke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Villa La Perla booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Dunixi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Ciriaco Cordarrell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adan Bembe was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. With an all-out effort, Villa La Perla's John Locke threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nemesio Tuste, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. SAN LORENZO FC's Ruperto Erlantz was substituted for Justino Quinito. SAN LORENZO FC's Aristides Castel was substituted for Ciriaco Cordarrell. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Polentzi got free with John Locke in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adan Bembe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Castel in the 75th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Villa La Perla defense, Aristides Castel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adan Bembe. The Villa La Perla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adan Bembe should have stopped the shot. Villa La Perla made a substitution. Isaac Eleder replaced Nemesio Tuste. In the 86th minute Froilan Jatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Bembe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Venancio Santio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of SAN LORENZO FC booed when Villa La Perla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Santio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villa La Perla's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adan Bembe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SAN LORENZO FC fully deserved thier win.
