An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Bărbânță in the 11th minute of play forced Greencard's goalkeeper Ismael Zaoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sandu Bărbânță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Greencard's zone, Sergiu Rădoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Zaoui came out of the goal and Sergiu Rădoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ismael Zaoui was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olimpiu Teodorescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. Gheorghe Chițan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ismael Zaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sandu Bărbânță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Olimpiu Teodorescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Zaoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basarab Seremet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ismael Zaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Greencard's zone, Basarab Seremet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Zaoui came out of the goal and Basarab Seremet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when Greencard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adnan Indrajit didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olimpiu Teodorescu got free with Ismael Zaoui in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tora Suarlan was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to FC Cosula-BTF- getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Sandu Bărbânță hit a great ball. Ismael Zaoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Rădoi in the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Gheorghe Chițan notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Greencard's Ismael Zaoui. Ismael Zaoui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Sandu Bărbânță put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ismael Zaoui. After 73 played minutes, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Basarab Seremet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ismael Zaoui came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Cosula-BTF- reached it. Olimpiu Teodorescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Sandu Bărbânță left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Cosula-BTF- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Olimpiu Teodorescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergiu Rădoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Greencard's Ismael Zaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Bărbânță in the 83rd minute of play. Greencard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Cosula-BTF- the free kick. In the 91st minute, Victor Beckström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Basarab Seremet got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Greencard's Ismael Zaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Rădoi in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Teodorescu in the 96th minute of play forced Greencard's goalkeeper Ismael Zaoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Cosula-BTF-'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
