In the 10th minute, Ricardo Vasques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Czerny came free, but Adelino Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Braga's Adelino Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waclaw Misiorowski in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Patryk Kicia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Monteiro in the 15th minute of play forced Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goalkeeper Edgar Harendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gocław Wilga Warszawa booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Figueiras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waclaw Misiorowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Waldemar Kaczor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adelino Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Misiorowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When Roman Czerny fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gocław Wilga Warszawa's protests and gave Roman Czerny a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Roman Czerny got a free kick in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Beniamin Niedziela scored 0-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adelino Coelho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Braga's Adelino Coelho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Braga from getting a goal against them. Gentil Vasques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Harendarski having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Adelino Coelho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With his leg Adelino Coelho managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Beniamin Niedziela fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pedro Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Edgar Harendarski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Czerny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Adelino Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Beniamin Niedziela kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adelino Coelho. That made the score 0-3 in the 76 minute of play. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adelino Coelho firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Pinho during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Pinho to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Waclaw Misiorowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Beniamin Niedziela came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adelino Coelho could save by the left post. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Braga's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roman Czerny was slow to take the kick. During this time Gocław Wilga Warszawa's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Kacper Narbut getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Waclaw Misiorowski came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Gocław Wilga Warszawa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waclaw Misiorowski couldn't finish the play. Gocław Wilga Warszawa played a much better game than SC Braga and deserved their victory. The SC Braga players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
