The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Independiente's Gaston Errando got control of the ball when Cain Velasquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Genaro Maria in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bennis's Benny Svensk. Gaston Errando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Hallgren in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Cain Velasquez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaston Errando. Cain Velasquez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Gaston Errando was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cain Velasquez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 29 minute of play. Cain Velasquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaston Errando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Jonas Mercurio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bennis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente the free kick. A collision led to Bennis getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Gaston Errando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Bennis were the better team. Bennis's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
