Candido Cordera made in the 3rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Manuel Mazuste. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Lammens in the 9th minute of play forced Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goalkeeper Jeremias Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Mazuste hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Jeremias Mon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Lammens, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The throw-in from Candido Cordera in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fc Benefica's Iwan Terpstra. In the 21st match minute, Sαηgrε Azuɭ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Cordera to maneuver through the defense. After 25th play minutes Ronald Lammens shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Jeremias Mon and just under the crossbar into goal. If Ronald Lammens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Jeremias Mon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Lammens in the 29th minute of play. Edgard Rijaard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Argoitz in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Rudolf van Zelst notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Jeremias Mon. Jeremias Mon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgard Rijaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Gregory in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Fc Benefica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Ødegaard to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Fc Benefica booed when Sαηgrε Azuɭ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Cordera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Jeremias Mon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Lammens in the 44th minute of play. Jeremias Mon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Lammens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Fc Benefica were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Argoitz made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Gregory in the 52nd minute of play forced Fc Benefica's goalkeeper Edgard Rijaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fc Benefica's Rudolf van Zelst managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Candido Cordera in the 53 minute of the game. A collision led to Fc Benefica getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Denny van den Berg hit a great ball. Leandro Gregory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57th match minute, Sαηgrε Azuɭ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Cordera to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Lammens came free, but Jeremias Mon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Benefica's goalkeeper Edgard Rijaard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Candido Cordera in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fc Benefica's Iwan Terpstra. After a rather tough play, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Candido Cordera got a free kick in the 70th minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Ronald Lammens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Benefica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronald Lammens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeremias Mon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Lammens, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Manuel Mazuste in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fc Benefica's Iwan Terpstra. In the 87th minute, Denny van den Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sαηgrε Azuɭ getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Julio Nuno hit a great ball. Candido Cordera hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Fc Benefica played a much better game than Sαηgrε Azuɭ and deserved their victory. The Sαηgrε Azuɭ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
