Haakon á Borg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sun Jing Shu in the 6th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Sun Jing Shu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haakon á Borg was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Ambrosio Dobarral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Geofredo in the 12th minute of play. In the 27th minute Jörn Helström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Dobarral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Haakon á Borg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Süleyman Reis. In the 31st minute of the match DEMİREL.FC got a corner. Cura del Futbol's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Süleyman Reis ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sun Jing Shu in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haakon á Borg saved Cura del Futbol from getting behind. Adolfo Vermudo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in DEMİREL.FC's zone, Karl-Erik Nordal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Dobarral came out of the goal and Karl-Erik Nordal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Cura del Futbol were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sun Jing Shu made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Cura del Futbol's Arturo Gombal got a free kick in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Cura del Futbol getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jimeno Geofredo hit a great ball. Ambrosio Dobarral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Helström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haakon á Borg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sun Jing Shu in the 67th minute of play. Ambrosio Dobarral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Helström, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Sun Jing Shu came free, but Haakon á Borg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Dobarral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörn Helström in the 78th minute. 85 minutes into the match, DEMİREL.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Geofredo came free, but Ambrosio Dobarral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DEMİREL.FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Süleyman Reis in the 88th minute. Sun Jing Shu's late challenge caught a Cura del Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sun Jing Shu helped the player get up and apologised. Sun Jing Shu hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
