With a little luck, Pheonix FC's Tyge Oehlerich got control of the ball when Lekubegi Bollo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Camilo Sesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wolfgang Vesterø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Pheonix FC's Wolfgang Vesterø sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Sesto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Michel Astudillo made the kick off in the second half. Wolfgang Vesterø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Camilo Sesto made a huge save. Berenguer Cuñat made in the 59th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Guerau Centeno however managed to control. In the 64th minute, Wolfgang Vesterø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Pheonix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lekubegi Bollo came free, but Tyge Oehlerich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Berenguer Cuñat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wolfgang Vesterø's late challenge caught a Loco Team FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wolfgang Vesterø helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Loco Team FC booed when Pheonix FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wolfgang Vesterø didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michel Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lekubegi Bollo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Wolfgang Vesterø managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pheonix FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wolfgang Vesterø was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Sesto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pheonix FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
