The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Paulista during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Izaltina FAD's Roberto Paulista got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 10 minutes of play, Izaltina FAD's Dinei Peres made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tim Johnstone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ronaldão Baiano hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Rony de Medeiros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 17th minute, Edorta Quintas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, The Tigers's Ataol Bahçıvan got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Roberto Paulista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tim Johnstone skillfully saved the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Rony de Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyrone Meehan. Gino de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Izaltina FAD's Rony de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Mureșan in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dinei Peres was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes Izaltina FAD got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Paulista. Rony de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayden Moore in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino de Lima in the 71st minute of play forced The Tigers's goalkeeper Tim Johnstone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Izaltina FAD booed when The Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayden Moore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinei Peres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Tim Johnstone made a huge save. Rony de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Atkins in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute Carl Atkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rony de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rony de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Atkins in the 90th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Edorta Quintas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Izaltina FAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edorta Quintas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Phil Clarke might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rony de Medeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Phil Clarke ran back to his position shaking his head. When The Tigers's Carl Atkins in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Izaltina FAD's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Izaltina FAD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
