Loco Team FC's Camilo Sesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dani Galiana in the 18th minute of play. Ulizes Sola scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Sesto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Walter Huarte was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Michel Astudillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 35 minute of play. After 38 played minutes Loco Team FC got a freekick which was hit by Rameriz Piñango. Ulizes Sola struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Camilo Sesto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astillero del Guayas. If Zarando Eguizabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulizes Sola to strike the kick off in the second half. Michel Astudillo shot from long distance after 52 played minutes, a shot that Walter Huarte with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Camilo Sesto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.
