Tim Johnstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Markel in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, The Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Markel came free, but Tim Johnstone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hayden Moore during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, The Tigers's Hayden Moore got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Yao Jing Zhen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tim Johnstone showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tim Johnstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Löfgren in the 13th minute of play. Tim Johnstone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Markel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Markel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 20 minutes into the match, The Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Mendez came free, but Tim Johnstone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tyrone Meehan scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hampus Söderström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th match minute, FC LauB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Tinglöf to maneuver through the defense. Tim Johnstone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Mendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC LauB booed when The Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rio Blewitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tim Johnstone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yao Jing Zhen in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Alf Löfgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yao Jing Zhen might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tim Johnstone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yao Jing Zhen ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carl Atkins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the last second Tim Johnstone throw himself and got hold of the ball when Mario Mendez in the 52ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The Tigers's Tim Johnstone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save The Tigers from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Tigers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yao Jing Zhen was slow to take the kick. During this time FC LauB's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Atkins in the 63rd minute of play forced FC LauB's goalkeeper Hampus Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mario Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Tigers made a substitution. Phil Clarke replaced Hayden Moore. 70 minutes into the game, Alf Löfgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tim Johnstone. Alf Löfgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. FC LauB's Pueblo Puerta was substituted for Mario Mendez. The Tigers's Tris Hedges was substituted for Carl Atkins. Tim Johnstone made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Pascual Markel sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Pascual Markel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tim Johnstone. That made the score 1-2 in the 79 minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Rio Blewitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, The Tigers's goalkeeper Tim Johnstone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Markel. The Tigers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Pascual Markel scored to the left of an out of position Tim Johnstone, making the score, 1-3. A collision led to FC LauB getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Alf Löfgren hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Benji Murray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over FC LauB could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than The Tigers throughout the match.
