In the 14th minute, Harley Grossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Danny Trüssel came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ämmer Sportfreaks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danny Trüssel couldn't finish the play. Oso Amezaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rainier Salaar in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A. GUAYACO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gregory Dupasquier was slow to take the kick. During this time Ämmer Sportfreaks's players had a chance to rest. Rainier Salaars short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Oso Amezaga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eike Pollastrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mendoza Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th match minute, Ämmer Sportfreaks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moritz Flück to maneuver through the defense. Harley Grossi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Oso Amezaga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Ämmer Sportfreaks defense, Agustin Pillado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eike Pollastrini. The Ämmer Sportfreaks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eike Pollastrini should have stopped the shot. If Mendoza Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eike Pollastrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mendoza Joseph, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Ämmer Sportfreaks players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.A. GUAYACO were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Rainier Salaar made the kick off in the second half. Oso Amezaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rainier Salaar's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After 64 minutes, Rainier Salaar made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. C.A. GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. C.A. GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rainier Salaar in the 66th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Mendoza Joseph managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. GUAYACO's supporters rose to their feet, but Mendoza Joseph was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eike Pollastrini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the C.A. GUAYACO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oso Amezaga should have stopped the shot. Oso Amezaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rainier Salaar in the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mendoza Joseph got free with Eike Pollastrini in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oso Amezaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rainier Salaar in the 96th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Rainier Salaar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Oso Amezaga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ämmer Sportfreaks's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
