Alfred Wyrzykowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wei Bing Ran having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Hochinskiy in the 32nd minute of play forced KKS Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Roch Brodzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tyler Tolley got free with Roch Brodzki in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee ignored Real Chelsea's protests and gave Grant Ainsworth a yellow card for diving instead. Radowit Radziszewski hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Tyler Tolley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Roch Brodzki made a huge save. If Louis Downs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KKS Lech Poznań made a substitution. Feliks Fafinski replaced Dominik Skikiewicz. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tyler Tolley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Real Chelsea's zone, Alfred Wyrzykowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wei Bing Ran came out of the goal and Alfred Wyrzykowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marian Wolniewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Wei Bing Ran made a huge save. After a rather tough play, KKS Lech Poznań's Feliks Fafinski got a free kick in the 81st minute. Roch Brodzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Downs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Chelsea made a substitution. Huey Newton replaced Tyler Tolley. In the 94th match minute, Real Chelsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uno Klemensson to maneuver through the defense. Wei Bing Ran made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Alfred Wyrzykowski sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the game, Real Chelsea's Huey Newton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roch Brodzki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0.
