The attack was good, but when Angel Di Maria in the 8th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 11th play minute Angel Di Maria came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zula Petrasz. 1-0. Zula Petrasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Perez in the 14th minute of the match. Stanislaw Marek kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Marcin Miecznikowski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sporting de Gijón's Benigno Eriz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With his leg Zula Petrasz managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Sporting de Gijón's Angel Di Maria fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Angel Di Maria had several of the Jagiellonia Bialystok's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Zula Petrasz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Angel Di Maria who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Zula Petrasz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcin Miecznikowski made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ludomir Tomiczek. Zula Petrasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
