Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sérgio Jacinto in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nemesio Montez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 15 played minutes Engenheiros da Vila got a freekick which was hit by Lucas de Salles. Blas Havier's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eriberto Queirós firmly grabbed it by the left post. Forever Tango's Nemesio Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Jacinto in the 34th minute of play. In the 78th minute Blas Havier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
